On 28 December 2018, Parkes Harness Racing Club conducted an 8-race meeting which included 3 heats for the Parkes Elvis Festival Championship (to be conducted on 09 January 2019, during the Parkes Elvis Festival week), 3 heats for the Medlyns Castrol GIG Series, a C3-C5 race, and the annual Bruce Large Memorial.
